- March 12th, 2010 - Table Quiz
- A team consisting of Ray Moran, Leanne Monaghan, Ger Hennessy
and Linda Fitzsimons claimed first place in The Table Quiz in aid
of The Scout Troop's upcoming Summer Camp in Blackwell Court near
Birmingham. "What's Satellite?" narrowly defeated "The Cabin Crew",
consisting of Ben McGarry, Margaret McGarry and Luke Galvin.

- January 10th, 2010 - Cubs live up to their Promise
- With bad weather affecting the local community, youth members
were asked to make an effort to help out their neighbours during
the cold snap. Cubs David, Adam and Niamh each made extra-special
efforts to do their best and help other people.

- August 23rd, 2009 - Bronze
- Well done to the Scouts who picked up a Bronze Award at The
Phoenix Trophy.

- July 27th, 2009 - Explorer Belt
- Well done to Kevin Nolan, Venture Scout, who has been awarded
with The Explorer Belt following a 10 day walk through Denmark
and Sweden completing a nmber of projects along the way. Congrats!

- May 17th, 2009 - Four in a Row
- Well done to the Scouts who picked up The County Shield for the
4th time.

- September 8th, 2008 - New Group Leader
- Congratulations to Gary Oxberry, who has been elected to the
position of Group Leader. Gary succeeds Kiernan who has taken up the
position of Deputy GL.

- August 24th, 2008 - Troop Claims Bronze Award in Phoenix
Challenge
- Following 4 days of competition, including a 3 day hike, The Scout
troop has been awarded with a Bronze Award at the Phoenix Challenege
in Larch Hill. Well done to the 9 Scouts who represented the Group.

- August 24th, 2008 - Vietnam PVG featured on RTE's Nationwide
- In a feature on Jamboree 2008, Kiernan was interviewed about the
exploits of Venture Scouts. The PVG were also featured. Video: Click
